Medical Capabilities

 

Our helicopter and crews are accustomed to the complexities of providing critical care transport for ill or injured patients

Crew Capabilities

     The crews have the knowledge and ability to perform invasive life-saving procedures in transport such as Needle Decompression, Rapid Sequence Induction (RSI) with oral intubation, and nasal intubation,. The crews are certified in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Basic Trauma Life Support (BTLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation  (NRP).

   

Equipment

Below are some of the things that our helicopters are equipped with:

· ECG Monitor with hands-free/pacer/defibrillator

                 - Monitor with the following capabilities:

                      - ECG

                      - Pulse oximetry

                      - End-tidal CO2

                      - Non-invasive blood pressure (NIBP)

· Transport Ventilator

· Infusion Pumps with 6 channels

· Transport Suction with backup portable suction unit

· Numerous medications
