Welcome to the official website of Huntsville MedFlight Huntsville MedFlight is North Alabama’s First Critical Care Transport Helicopter We have two base’s in North Alabama. MedFlight 1 is located in Madison County in Meridianville, Alabama at Madison County Executive Airport. MedFlight 2 is located in Danville, Alabama at Danville Fire Department on Highway 157. MedFlight 1 operates 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. MedFlight 2 operates Monday thru Friday 7 am to 7 pm. The flight crew responds to life threatening situations, providing transport for traumatically injured or critically ill patients and are trained in the care of both adults and pediatric patients.
